Apple Jam Is Quick and Easy to Make Yourself

For six jars, each holding 200 milliliters, you’ll need 1.5 apples.
Tart varieties like Boskoop, Elstar, or Jonagold work best. Cinnamon gives the jam a special aroma.

Ingredients:
1.5 kg apples

500–700 g gelling sugar (2:1 or 3:1, depending on desired sweetness)

Juice of one lemon

Optional: 1 tsp cinnamon or two to three cloves
