How to Make Wendy’s Chili
Brown the Ground Beef:
In a large skillet, brown the ground beef. Drain off any excess fat.
Combine the Ingredients:
Add the beef to a 6-quart pot, along with the tomato juice, tomato purée, beans, onion, celery, green bell pepper, and all the seasonings. Stir to combine.
Simmer:
Cover the pot and let the chili simmer for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, stirring every 15 minutes.
Slow Cooker Option:
For a slow cooker, place all the ingredients in the slow cooker and cook on low for 3 to 4 hours.
