Tomato sauce with 250ml of vinegar – I make it every year.
Ingredients:
4–5 kg tomatoes
8 large onions (vegetable onions)
Approx. 3 teaspoons salt (season to taste if needed)
3 tablespoons sugar
3 g fresh ginger
1 teaspoon sweet paprika powder
5 bay leaves
¼ liter vinegar
Juice of 1 lemon
1 celery root (celeriac)
Approx. 2 teaspoons pepper (season to taste if needed)
