PANTRY PANCAKE MIXES (LARGE BATCH). Five irresistible pancake mixes for every craving — classic, fruity, chocolatey, or spiced!
1. Classic Buttermilk Pancake Mix
Dry Mix (makes 4 batches / ~32 pancakes):
4 cups all-purpose flour
4 tbsp sugar (¼ cup)
8 tsp baking powder (2 tbsp + 2 tsp)
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp salt
To Store:
Mix well and store in a large airtight jar or container. Label clearly. Shelf life: up to 6 months in a cool, dry place.
To Make 1 Batch (8 pancakes):
1 cup dry mix
1 cup buttermilk
1 egg
2 tbsp melted butter
Whisk wet ingredients, add dry mix, and stir gently. Cook on a greased griddle until golden on both sides.
2. Chocolate Chip Pancake Mix
Dry Mix (makes 4 batches / ~32 pancakes):
4 cups all-purpose flour
4 tbsp cocoa powder (¼ cup)
4 tbsp sugar (¼ cup)
8 tsp baking powder
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp salt
1 cup mini chocolate chips
