Prepare the Fish: Pat cod fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and pepper.

Dredge: Lightly coat each fillet in flour, shaking off any excess.

Sear the Cod: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook fillets for 3–4 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

Make the Sauce: Reduce heat to medium. Add butter to the same skillet. Once melted, stir in garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

Finish the Dish: Stir in lemon juice and parsley. Return cod fillets to the skillet, spooning sauce over the top.

Serve: Garnish with extra parsley if desired. Serve immediately.
