Nepenthes highlanders grow slowly, especially when young. Patience is very important, and you shouldn’t worry unless you notice a significant change at first.
2. Winter Rest:
In winter, growth may slow or stop, especially with low light. This is normal and not a disease.
3. Pitchers Are Not Always Visible:
Not every leaf necessarily produces a pitcher. This is affected by light, humidity, nutrition, and even stress.
4. Aeration Container:
Use a pot with plenty of holes to allow air to enter and excess water to escape, as the roots hate being over-wet.
5. Don’t scratch the leaves or pitchers:
Nepenthes are delicate, and excessive touching can stunt growth or cause the pitchers to fall.

It’s best to water the soil directly, without overwatering the leaves, to prevent them from developing mold.
*7. Adapt to your climate: *
Try creating a mini greenhouse or using a terrarium if you’re in an extremely dry or cold area.
