Loaded Cheesy Pocket Tacos

1 packet taco seasoning
1 pound ground beef
½ cup salsa
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons melted butter
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
12 (6-inch) tortillas
Instructions
In a skillet, crumble and cook the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain the grease.
Add the taco seasoning to the beef, following the package directions for mixing and cooking.
In a medium mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Blend in the salsa until fully combined.
On each tortilla, spread a spoonful of the cream cheese-salsa mixture in the center.
Add a spoonful of taco-flavored beef on top of the cheese mixture. Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
Fold the tortilla tightly, burrito-style, to seal the filling inside.
Lightly spray a baking dish or tray with cooking spray and preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Place the filled tortillas seam-side down in the dish. Brush the tops with melted butter.
Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until tortillas are golden brown and slightly crispy.
Serve warm with your favorite toppings such as sour cream, guacamole, or extra salsa.
Tips & Variations
Swap ground beef for shredded chicken or ground turkey for a lighter version.
Add black beans, corn, or sautéed peppers to the filling for extra flavor and nutrition.
Make ahead and freeze: assemble the pocket tacos, freeze unbaked, and bake straight from frozen when needed.
