COOKIES WITH CHOCOLATE CHIPS

Step 3: Incorporating the Dry Ingredients
Incorporate the plain flour, baking powder, bicarbonate of soda, and sea salt into the bowl. Mix until a cookie dough comes together. Take care to avoid overmixing, as it may lead to cookies that are tougher in texture.

Step 4: Mixing in the Chocolate Chips
Fold in the chocolate chips until they are evenly distributed throughout the dough. This is where the magic happens – every bite should have a delicious mix of chocolate!

Step 5: Shaping and Chilling the Dough
Weigh out your cookies into eight dough balls, each about 120g. Roll them into balls and place them on a tray. Chill the dough balls in the freezer for at least 30 minutes, or in the fridge for about an hour. This step helps the cookies maintain their shape during baking.

Step 6: Baking to Perfection
Preheat your oven to 180C Fan (200C regular). If your oven tends to run hot, aim for 160C-170C. Place your cookie dough balls onto a lined baking tray, spacing them well apart. Bake for 12-14 minutes. The cookies should be golden around the edges but still soft in the middle
