Instructions
Step 1: Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish well.
Step 2: Prepare the Cake Batter
In a large mixing bowl, combine all the cake ingredients and blend until smooth.
Spread the batter evenly into the bottom of your prepared baking dish.
Step 3: Make and Add the Topping
In another bowl, mix together all the topping ingredients until smooth and creamy.
Drop spoonfuls of this topping mixture over the cake batter.
Use a butter knife to gently swirl the topping through the top layer of the cake.
Step 4: Bake
Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
Step 5: Glaze the Cake
Mix the glaze ingredients together in a small bowl until smooth.
Pour the glaze over the warm cake. Let it set before slicing and serving.
