Mysterious Eggs Under the Bed: A Family’s Nightmare
What started as a normal Saturday morning turned into a terrifying ordeal for one suburban family after their 10-year-old daughter made a chilling discovery under her bed: a strange cluster of pale, leathery eggs — dozens of them.
At first, they thought it was some sort of prank or maybe an odd science project gone wrong. But the truth turned out to be far more disturbing… and real.
“Mom, there are eggs under my bed.”
When Emily, a quiet and imaginative fifth-grader from a quiet neighborhood in Maplewood, called for her mom, she wasn’t crying. She wasn’t even scared — just confused.
“I thought she meant plastic Easter eggs or something,” said her mother, Karen. “But when I bent down and looked, I felt my stomach drop.”
Tucked in the dark space beneath Emily’s twin bed were nearly 30 soft-shelled eggs, each about the size of a golf ball. They were clustered tightly together, warm to the touch, and faintly pulsing.
